3/9/2007 Britain's Tories love open sourceAn interesting article was published today at Register.co.uk where it shows the importance Open Source movement is grabbing... even some of the very top representatives from the UK government are encouraging schools, private and public sector to use Open Source to save money in licenses. George Osborne, Britain's shadow chancellor of the exchequer, suggested that the principles of transparency used in open source software development could also be applied to political discourse and the workings of the establishment.
