Symantec will release shortly a very innovative product called "Symantec Database Security and Audit".

 

As the name states it will protect databases from fraudulent operations and will continuosly monitor the state of the database in order to be consisent and reliable.

 

From ChoicePoint to the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, high profile security breaches have captured headlines and turned the spotlight on how companies maintain and secure the personal information of millions of people worldwide.

Unfortunately, most companies are not aware of these attacks until it is too late — and already reported in the press. To address this critical security issue and provide CIOs with visibility into attacks as they occur, the Advanced Concepts group, the product-accelerating start-up unit within Symantec Research Labs, has built a new product called the Symantec Database Security and Audit 3100 Series Appliance. It is the first production-ready solution engineered from incubation to commercialization by Symantec Advanced Concepts.
